State Conference
The Network sponsors a state conference serving women in a wide range of roles in higher education, including graduate students. The conference is a full day format that provides leadership development and capacity building for women. Each year, the conference encourages open dialogue about gender and higher education by focusing on the wide range of contexts within which women in higher education exist. The conference connects women from across the state to explore commonalities and differences in order to develop practical tools to enhance their everyday lives. Each year the conference is hosted in a different site across the state. The idea is to bring relevant, timely, and easily accessible programming to women in all parts of the state.
Women of Color Conference
The Network has been particularly interested in identifying and developing the careers of women from diverse backgrounds. Every three years, the conference shifts to a special focus on issues of importance for women of color in the academy.
