Nomination Process

 

Congratulations to the 2026-2027 Senior Leadership Seminar cohort! We look forward to welcoming this outstanding group of women leaders this fall.

 

Nominations for the 2027-2028 Senior Leadership Seminar are expected to open in February 2027.

 

After You're Selected

Selected Leaders are asked to confirm their participation within several weeks of receiving their invitation. Shortly thereafter, participants complete onboarding forms, share information for the cohort directory, select Learning Circle preferences, and receive additional information to prepare for the year ahead.

 

The typical annual timeline includes:

• February: Nominations open

• March: Nomination deadline

• April: Institutional endorsements and final participant selection

• Late April: Selected Leaders notified

• May: Acceptance confirmations collected

• May-June: Participant directory developed, Learning Circle planning begins, and onboarding information distributed, online information session held.

• July 15: Tuition payment due

• September: Participants receive journals, pre-work, hotel information, and seminar logistics.

• October: Seminar I begins

 

Nomination Process

 

Definitions

 

Nominee

An individual who is nominated by someone else or submits a self-nomination.

 

Endorsed Candidate

An Institutional Representative's official nominee. Each institution may endorse up to two candidates.

 

Selected Leader

An individual officially invited to join the upcoming SLS cohort.

 

Participant

A Selected Leader who accepts the invitation, submits payment, and officially enrolls in the Senior Leadership Seminar.

 

Tuition

Tuition for the Senior Leadership Seminar is $999.

 

The fee includes:

• Three seminar experiences

• Program materials and leadership journal

• Guest speakers

• Networking receptions

• Designated seminar meals

• ACE Women's Network Virginia Annual Conference registration

 

Tuition does not include:

• Lodging

• Transportation

• Meals not listed on the agenda

 

Payment is due July 15 to provide institutions with maximum flexibility across fiscal years.

 

Our preferred payment method is through GivePulse. Institutions that require payment by check may request an invoice.
