The Senior Leadership Seminar is designed as a cohort experience, and participants are expected to attend all three seminars. We recognize, however, that unexpected life or professional circumstances occasionally arise.
In rare and extenuating circumstances, participants may request permission from the SLS Committee to make up a missed seminar during the following year's program. If approved, participants may attend the corresponding seminar with the next cohort and complete the program at that time. A $250 make-up seminar fee applies, and participants will graduate with the cohort in which they complete their final seminar.
Because the strength of SLS comes from the shared cohort experience, make-up requests are granted only in exceptional circumstances and are not guaranteed.
How much time should I expect to spend outside the seminars?
-
Beyond the three seminars, participants attend several optional virtual Lunch & Learn sessions, complete occasional reflection activities in their leadership journal, and stay connected with their Learning Circle. Most participants find the time commitment manageable while working full-time.
